Eighteen photos of schools and institutes for refugees. Vilnius, [late 1940s or early 1950s].
School for refugees ("tshebishe plitim"); dormitory in "Toz" school (Toz, society for protection of the health of Jews in Poland); bread-distribution for refugees; Lyubavitsh Yeshivah (several photos); Sewing class for men and women, and more. All the photos are titled by hand on the reverse. 11X17.5 cm. Good condition. Ink stamps and inscriptions on the reverse; glue remnants. Archive ink stamp of the historian Leyzer Ran.
