Herosolima. Etching – single leaf from Hartmann Schedel's book Liber Chronicarum [Nuremberg Chronicle], Nuremberg, 1493. (Imaginary) illustration of Jerusalem, in its center appears King Solomon's Temple. Etching by Michael Wohlgemut. On the reverse appears an illustration of the Tower of Babylon. Etching: 22.5X19 cm, leaf: 32X47 cm. Good condition. Stains. Inscriptions in pen on the reverse. Minor tears to edges.
