Migdal settlement/"Gdud HaAvodah" in Migdal, 1920s
Nineteen photographs of the Migdal settlement, [early 1920s, probably 1921-22]. Black/white and sepia photographs, mounted on Bristol sheets (one is annotated and dated: "Migdal 1922"). Portraying the settlement and its surroundings: members of "Gdud HaAvodah" and their tents, Mount Arbel, Arab shepherds, Banana plants, harvest, horse with a plough, Gedera with camels, and more. Average size 8X12 cm, Bristol sheets 16X23.5 cm. Good condition.
