Two Letters from Rabbi Aharon Kotler
Two letters from Rabbi Aharon Kotler to Rabbi Yitzchak Bunin. Lakewood, 1956, 1961.
Receipt letters for donations made to the "Beit Midrash Gavoha BeAmerica"- the Lakewood Yeshiva. Typewritten with endings and signatures in the Rosh Yeshiva's handwriting, Gaon Rabbi "Aharon Kotler". The first letter includes a handwritten Shana Tova greeting "Ketiva VeChatima Tovaג€¦for a year of life, blessing and peace".
Rabbi Yitzchak Bunin, recipient of the letters, (1872-1982) one of the oldest USA rabbis, was a friend of Rabbi Aharon Kotler's since their "Kollel" days in Kovna-Slabodka, served in the Rabbinates of Russia and the USA. Authored the "Divrei Yitzchak" books.
Two letters, on official letterhead. Various sizes, good-fair condition, tears and damages on the leaves' edges.
