Parchment megillat Kohelet. [Jerusalem, ca. early 20th century].

Ink on parchment in large format. Neat, elegant Ashkenazic (Beit Yosef) Stam script, characteristic of the circle of scribes active in Jerusalem in the 1890s-1910s; the permanence of ink is also characteristic of this circle. Three sheets, 9 columns of text, 42 lines per column. Wide margins (Chazon Ish margins).

Height of parchment: 56 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains and creases.
