Fine copy, in early leather binding, with gilt decorations to spine.
The book is comprised of two parts. Part I contains the entire Hebrew text of Tehillim accompanied by three Latin translations of Jerome, Pagnino and Pratensis, printed in four columns. Part II (with a separate inner title page) contains the Vulgate translation and the Septuagint (Greek) on facing pages.
The book opens with an index of the Latin names of the chapters (in alphabetical order).
A fine printer's device appears in the center of the title page.
Notations and inscriptions within text, and handwritten glosses by several writers (in Latin) in margins of some leaves (partially trimmed).
[360] leaves. Approx. 17 cm. Color edges. Overall good condition. Stains. Marginal open tear to title page, not affecting text, repaired with paper filling. Early leather binding. Defects to binding (wear and tears to edges of spine and corners).
