Binding of "siddur" (Hebrew prayer book) bearing vegetal patterns, with numerous openings. Fastened onto the front is an appliqué in the form of a seven-branched Menorah, on the spine, a Star-of-David appliqué, and on the back, the appliqué is a cartouche with a bird on it. Matching buckle.
Book: Hebrew prayer book in the tradition of the "Italiani" community, with an abbreviated version of the sequence of weekday prayers for youngsters. Mantua, Italy, 1862. Pocketbook format.
