Pair of Torah Finials – Ottoman Empire, 19th century

Pair of Torah finials. [Ottoman Empire (possibly Bulgaria, Greece, or Turkey), second half of the 19th century].
Silver, repoussé and engraved (unmarked).
Torah finials with spherical bodies, adorned in vegetal patterns. Each finial surmounted by a flattened flower-shaped ornament. Six long chains with bells at their ends are suspended from each body. Tall cylindrical shafts, tapering upward, with matching vegetal patterns.

Height: 25.5 cm. Maximal width: 10 cm. Fair-good condition. Significant warping and minor fractures.
