Pair of Torah finials. [Far East, probably India, late 19th century].
Silver, cast and engraved (unmarked).

These surfaces are decorated with vegetal themes in rich, dense detail, penetrating tiny slits and minute points. Bodies supported on stout cylindrical shafts, tapering upward, and similarly decorated. Five chains with bells at their ends are suspended from each of the finial bodies.
Height: 14 cm. Maximal width: 7 cm. Overall good condition. Slight warping.
