Letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, R. Menachem Mendel Schneerson. Brooklyn, New York, 25th Tishrei 1951.
Typewritten on the Rebbe's official stationery, with his signature – "M.Schneerson".
Addressed to R. Yitzchak Levi, in response to his message informing him of a newborn girl. The Rebbe blesses him with a Mazal Tov, blessing them to raise them "to Torah, marriage and good deeds", and mentioning the famous Chabad practice in the name of the Rebbe Rashab to use the formula "to Torah" even upon the birth of a girl. He concludes with a Mazal Tov blessing. In the margins, the Rebbe notes that he enclosed a check.
