Ze’ev Raban (1890-1970) – Jerusalem – Original Sketch – Pencil, Ink and Watercolor on Paper

Pencil, ink and watercolor on paper. Not signed. Studio stamp: "Ze'ev Raban, Workshop for Industrial Art (formerly Gur-Aryeh and Raban), Bezalel, Jerusalem" (Hebrew).
Preliminary design by Ze’ev Raban, presumably for the Ten Cities series (ca. 1930), depicting various cities and sites in Palestine – Jerusalem, Safed, Tiberias, Hebron, Haifa, Rachel’s Tomb, and others – in a style typical to Raban’s work.
Several additional pencil sketches appear in the margins of the sheet, along with two short lists of cities and sites included in the series.
