Tochachat Megulah and HaTzad Nachash, two polemic books by R. Yosef Ergas, against the Sabbatean Nechemiah Hayyun. London, [1715].
Tochachat Megulah is a scathing attack by R. Yosef Ergas, author of Shomer Emunim (HaKadmon), against the Sabbatean Nechemiah Hayyun, who had published his Sabbatean views in his book Oz LElohim. In response to Tochachat Megulah, Hayyun published his book Shalhevet Yah, printed in Amsterdam 1714, and R. Yosef Ergas rejoined with the booklet HaTzad Nachash.
On the verso of the title page, foreword of the publisher, R. Moshe Chagiz – leading opponent of Hayyun.
