Silver, repoussé, pierced and engraved (marked with French silver fineness mark and maker’s mark: Dejean – anchor above, and below, a star within a lozenge = Joseph Philippe Adolphe Dejean, active in Paris); wood.
Large finials with wide domed bases, tall decorated stems, and openwork crown-shaped finials topped with Stars of David. One base inscribed: "A donation to the synagogue by members of our community here in Bischheim, Rosh Hashanah 5604".
Height: 35 cm. Diameter of base: 16 cm. Overall good condition. Minor defects and breaks. One bell missing. Custom wooden fittings inserted into the bases.
