Polish-Rite High Holiday and Festival Machzors – Lviv, 1838 – Fine Leather-Bound Set – Bibliographically Unknown Edition

Set of machzorim according to the rite of Bohemia, Poland and Moravia, Part I – Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur; and Part II – three festivals. Lviv: Chayah Taube wife of Aharon Madpis, 1838. Two parts in two volumes.
Fine leather bindings, with gilt decorations (bookplates on endpapers with name of binder from Liverpool).
Owner's name inscribed on front of both volumes: "S. L. Caff'e".

Two volumes. Volume I (high holidays): [179] leaves. Volume II (festivals): [179] leaves. 15.5 cm. Gilt edges. Good condition. Stains. Fine leather bindings. Wear and light damage to bindings.
