Oriental cursive script. At beginning of manuscript, title page, where the scribe writes in Ladino that the work was translated (or copied) in Constantinople, 1714, under the reign of Ahmed III (1703-1730), by Refael son of R. Yochanan, son-in-law of R. Eliezer HaLevi the physician.
Inside front board, reused leaf with names and numbers (apparently sums of money.
On back endpaper, ownership inscriptions and signature of "Yosef Giron".
Title page torn and lacking part of bottom half. Last leaf lacking end and detached, affecting text. The complete translation of the work is included, except for several lines on the last page.
[3], 3-95, 97-121, 124-149, [2] leaves (misfoliation). Approx. 21 cm. Fair-good condition. Stains, including dampstains, ink stains and dark stains in several places. Tears and wear. Several leaves detached. Title page and last leaf torn and lacking, affecting text of last leaf. Original leather binding, damaged and partially detached.
