A children's story by the Russian Futurist poet Nikolai Aseev (Николай Асеев; 1889-1963), member of the artists group "LEF" (ЛЕФ – "Left Front of the Arts"); accompanied by illustrations and color lithographs by the Russian-Jewish artist Eduard Krimmer (Эдуард Михайлович Криммер; 1900-1974).
Enclosed: Two paper plates with original charcoal and color illustrations by Krimmer (unsigned).

[12] pages + [2] plates. Approx. 29 cm; plates: 27.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Minor stains. Tears, blemishes and wear to upper margins of all leaves, slightly affecting text on margins of front cover.
