R. Menachem Menashe (1892-1968), author of Ahavat Chaim. Renowned Sephardic orator and Torah teacher in Jerusalem. He studied under the kabbalists R. Yitzchak Alfaya and R. Yehudah Fatiya, at whose behest he established the Ahavat Chaim society, which spread Torah and engaged in charitable projects.
