Colorful hand-painted “Mizrach”, upon an octagonal wooden plate with many ornaments.
Illustration of a Menorah and trees, words and various letter combinations, in color, in center of wooden plate.
Plate frame set with fragments of ivory. Flower ornaments, leaves and fish as well as various geometric shapes.
Apparently, the wooden plate originally served as the upper part of a table.
69X59 cm. Fair condition. Many decorations missing from the frame. Cracks in the wood, minor damages to illustration.
