Twelve "Shanah Tovah" Postcards – USA

Twelve "Shanah Tovah" postcards, mostly by Williamsburg Post Card Co. and the Hebrew Publishing Co. USA, [early decades of the 20th century].
Postcards featuring Jewish motifs, such as a whale, the Tablets of the Law, portraits of Zionist rabbis, scenes from Jewish life – Kol Nidre, Bar Mitzvah, Kiddush, and children flying Simchat Torah flags – and general motifs, typical to greeting cards of the era: a drive in an automobile, pigeons depicted in front of a floral backdrop (carrying a ticket to "a voyage to Palestine"), and more.
14X9 cm. Condition varies. Significant damage and stains to one postcard. Most postcards were used.
Enclosed: "Shanah Tovah" greeting card, decorated with flowers and birds; gilt.
