Hanukkah Lamp with Bird Decorations – Sefrou, 19th Century
Hanukkah lamp. Sefrou, Morocco, [19th century].
Brass, cast.
Back plate: openwork, with row of three horseshoe arches, large, central flower, and row of half-moons. Pair of birds project from either side of upper part of back plate. Additional bird surmounts apex of suspension ring surmounting center of back plate. (please refer also to previous item, and item no. 21).
Height: 23 cm. Width: 17 cm. Good condition. No servant light.
